6507/5-9 S (Shrek) is a discovery in the Norwegian Sea, five kilometres southeast of the Skarv field. The water depth is 360 metres. Shrek was proven in 2019. The reservoir contains oil and gas in Middle Jurassic sandstone in the Fangst Group and Early Jurassic Båt Group. The discovery is planned to be developed as a tie-back to the Skarv field. The plan for development and operation (PDO) is expected to be submitted in 2022.
