6407/7-8 (Noatun) is a discovery in the central part of the Norwegian Sea, 18 kilometres north of the Njord field. The water depth is 300 metres. The discovery was proven and delineated in 2008. The reservoir contains gas and condensate in the Åre, Tilje and Tofte Formations of Early to Middle Jurassic age. The reservoir quality varies. A joint development together with the discovery 6407/7-9 S as a tie-in to the Njord A facility is under consideration.
